David grew up in St. Albans and also attended BFA St Albans high school. Initially, he attended Clarkson with the aspiration of being a forensic scientist but decided direct patient care was his passion and switched to pre-med. While in dental school David earned a respect for oral surgery and decided after earning his dental degree to work for an FQHC in Richford Vermont -The Notch dental clinic. After 2 years he transferred employment to the Community Health Centers of Burlington dental clinic where he still maintains a part-time position as an associate dentist. In addition to general dental care, David offers surgical and implant treatment in a comfortable private office setting at The Dentists on Pearl.

Happy Retirement Dr. Pantzar!
A letter from Ed:
To my patients, staff, and friends,
It is with very mixed emotions that I announce my full retirement from dentistry. As many of you are aware, it had been my wish to continue with my part-time schedule for several more years, but the changes and challenges brought about by the Covid-19 virus have caused me to reconsider.
In thirty five years I have gained countless friends and close professional relationships. I will cherish these memories always. My heart goes out especially to those patients who were really counting on me being around much longer than this. It is in my nature to feel that I am letting you down. These feelings are balanced, though, by the confidence that I have in Dr. Evans and Dr. Jette, and the certainty that you will very quickly be as comfortable with them as you have been with me.
So, thank you all so very much for the years of confidence and devotion you’ve shown in me. It has truly been a privilege and honor to have served you all these years. I hope very much that our paths cross again.
Thanks again!
Dr. Ed Pantzar
